How to install the Device Link software to upload patient data
Issue
I want to install the Device Link software to upload data from my patient's device.
Solution
To install the Device Link software, first ensure that you have administrator rights on your computer, then:
Sign in to your RocheDiabetes Care Platform account.
From the navigation bar, click Upload data
Select Other.
A Device Link pop-up window displays. Click Download Device Link software.
Follow the appropriate installation instructions according to your computer’s operating system (Windows or macOS).
Double-click the downloaded installation file (Setup.exe).
Double-click the downloaded installation file (Setup.exe).
If needed, select the language and change the installation destination folder.
Click Install. For Windows installation, Device Link automatically installs two components:
The Accu-Chek® 360° connection manager, to support the Accu-Chek® devices connected via USB
The SINOVO Connection Center, to enable uploads from other supported devices
Select the Hospital/Practice installation mode.
Select the device drivers you would like to install, or skip if no additional driver is required.
Click Finish to exit when the installation is complete.
Note:
If you don't have the SINOVO plug-in, contact your system administrator or Customer Support for your country.
When Device Link is installed and running, icons will appear on your computer’s taskbar or on the desktop. These icons indicate the status of the application and the action, if any, that you should take.
Double-click the downloaded installation file (Setup.dmg).
If needed, select the language and change the installation destination folder.
Click Install.
The Device Link software will launch when the installation is complete.
Device Link appears as an icon on the top applications bar. Click on the icon to open it.
Note: Open Connectivity (the SINOVO Connection Center) is not compatible with Device Link for macOS.
