How to import data from a Medtronic CGM device

Issue

I want to upload patient data from their Medtronic CGM device to the RocheDiabetes Care Platform.

Solution

You can upload patient data from their Medtronic CGM device via any available Medtronic diabetes management system.

• Upload and export data via CareLink

  1. To upload data, you can do it by following the on-screen instructions on either:
     - CareLink System, a cloud-based web solution
     - CareLink Pro software
     ×Note: Patients upload their data to CareLink Personal.
  2. To export data, go to Reports and then click Data export (CSV) (both in CareLink System and CareLink Personal), or Export data (in CareLink Pro).
     ×Note: You can export data for a specific period of time.

• Import data to the RocheDiabetes Care Platform

  ×Note: Data import from this CGM device is only available using the Device Link software on Windows. To install it, follow this article. Once installed, the RDCP Device Link folder will appear on your desktop.
  1. Move the exported files to the RDCP Device Link folder on your desktop. Then, the SINOVO Connection Center should automatically open.
     If the file is not automatically detected, select it manually. Browse the source file, click Open, and then Import. This will start importing the data to the RocheDiabetes Care Platform.
     
     
  
  
  2. To assign the device to the patient, click Confirm device assignment.
  3. The upload may require two confirmations. To confirm the data upload, click the blinking Device Link icon from your taskbar, and click Next.
  ×Note: To upload data manually, click on the system tray icon ⌃, right-click on the Device Link icon, and click Manual upload - other devices. This launches the SINOVO Connection Center, where you can manually select the device or data source.
